Years ago, when we decided to build our own pool, we
were looking for something with the lowest maintenance
possible. We wanted a pool that we wouldn’t have to
resurface years down the road as well as something that
wouldn’t require a great deal of maintenance. Our research
then lead us to fiberglass. It is because of these factors
that we decided to build our business primarily on building
low maintenance pools which in the beginning was with
fiberglass pools. We believe our customers have the
same needs as we did when we were choosing a pool. Over
the years, advances in concrete pool surfaces, sanitizing
equipment and other factors have made concrete pools
a great option. We are state licensed to build all kinds
of pools, but we focus on in-ground concrete (gunite)
and fiberglass pools which address our motto of building
the lowest maintenance pool possible. Generally, fiberglass
pools are about the same price as a concrete pool to
build and oftentimes even more.

Your Mermaid Pool will require so little maintenance,
you’ll wonder why you didn’t consider a pool before.
As one of our customers told us who had an above ground
pool for 17 years…. “Mark, I’m mad at you. I wish you
would’ve put our pool in years ago. This is so easy
to take care of---so much easier than that above ground
pool.” About all your pool needs is chlorine to keep
the water sanitized.
Our concrete pools usually utilize the latest salt
generated chlorine systems. If you spend $100/year on
chemicals, that would be a lot. And, of course, since
our pools are so easy to maintain, more than likely,
you won’t even consider a pool service which could easily
run $100/month.

Just as you have many options in building a house, you
have many options when building your pool. Not only
do these options include what goes into your pool project,
but also how you build your pool. Generally, our pools
run about the same price whether they are a concrete
pool or a fiberglass (although if one were more expensive
it is the fiberglass). There are companies that will
offer pools in advertisements that are REALLY low in
price. We hear about those projects when people call
us back and say something like, “Their price was thousands
less than yours but when they added in all the extra
costs of the items that you include, the price was about
the same."
Having said that – you also want a general idea of
project cost. Pools can run as low as the low $20,000
range to more than $75,000. Our average project runs
around $25-45,000. This gives you an idea of what you
will end up spending.

We are state certified to build your pool completely,
wherever you live in Florida. With this option we take
care of every detail. All you need to do is tell us
what you want and bring your swim suit. This is what
about 75-80% of our customers choose.

We also offer a Do-It-Yourself
program for our fiberglass projects. Nationwide
more and more people are choosing this route, which
explains a booming home improvement industry. It is
a wonderful, viable alternative for people who enjoy
doing projects themselves. Not only can you save money,
you can take great pride in knowing you did it yourself.
The really neat thing about our fiberglass pools is
that you CAN install your pool yourself. It’s a large
project, but it’s really not a big deal. If you can
manage a project, you can install your own pool. Maria’s
experience has included working with DIYers from Massachusetts
to Missouri and from Madision, Wisconsion to Miami Beach,
Florida.
We offer several packages to suit your needs from material
kits to assisted installations.
